Loyal Pooch -- Day 90

Whenever I get my camera bag and head for the door, Annie is right with me. She knows when I'm getting ready to go out on a shoot. If only she was bigger so she could carry my gear for me. :) Tonight she was confined to the porch, but she kept an eye one me. I took a few other photos, but I liked this one best. :)

New Leaves and Bokeh Sun -- Day 89

This little guy is such an adorable handful! He loves the table! His favorite table activities include, looking out the window, stealing sister Hannah's food, and spilling any cup of water, juice, milk, etc. That he can get his hands on. Today though, he chose the quiet activity of looking at a magazine. Doesn't he look so innocent? About an hour later I caught him standing in the middle of said table. :P

The Hunt -- Day 87

I couldn't resist posting this one for today. I took more artistic photos today, but this one is just classic. :) They are stalking pigeons. :)

Tiny Cross -- Day 86

I made this little cross this evening out of a twig from a bush and a little piece of copper wire my brother took out of an old blender motor. I'm going to have to make another one, cause after I took this photo I accidentally dropped it in the grass. :(

Leafy Branches -- Day 85

Green has been quite the theme the last few days. :) This one has blue too. :) And look at those doves! I didn't even see them at first when I was taking a picture of the sun shining through the leafy branches. Then I spotted them perched there and snapped this shot before they flew away. :)

Green of Spring -- Day 84

It wasn't until I got this picture on the computer that I actually looked at it and thought, "Hey, that's neat!" I was actually taking pictures of tulips in our neighbors yard. The sun was hitting these leaves from behind and they just turned out looking really cool in my opinion. Especially that interesting curled leaf.

Mushrooms -- Day 83

Much rain brings cool looking mushrooms. :)

Pink Petals -- Day 82

The rain left a pretty littering of petals on the windshield of a car at my Dad's work. :)

Rainbow Umbrella -- Day 81

It's still raining around here. :) I decided to put my rainbow umbrella to use. I tried to get some photos of my umbrella reflecting in a puddle, but those didn't turn out as I had envisioned, so I got this one instead.

Dogwood in the Rain -- Day 80

Today was a dreary drizzly day. But the dogwood is blooming. :) The flowers are still small, but in a couple days they'll be in full bloom.

Green Showing Through -- Day 79

The trees are getting their leaves! I just love it when the green starts showing up to replace the grey of winter. :)

Roller Skates -- Day 78

This afternoon, I went to a skate party for the little girls I used to nanny. They are turning five! These are Emelyn's skates after we took them off at the end of skating.

My Twin -- Day 77

Some days I can't think of anything to take a photo off, and other days I find all kinds of things. Today I asked Amber to pose for me. I love her sweater, so I had to have a photo of her in it. :)
I also photographed the sunrise, tulips, a baby, cross steeple and crab apple tree. I guess you'll just have to hope I post those somewhere else in the future. :)

Farm Fresh -- Day 76

Mom re-stocked our refrigerator with eggs today. :) We don't have chickens, but we know a lady who does and she keeps us well supplied with the good fresh eggs. :)

Jon Boy -- Day 75

This is Jon. He was lounging around watching TV (his favorite pastime) and the lighting was just right. :) So I captured his happy face for you to see.

White Bell Flowers -- Day 74

Does anyone know what kind of flowers these are? I've been having photographing all the pretty flowers that are popping up everywhere. :)

New Leaves -- Day 73

I love the colors of spring. The pretty flowers are blooming all around and now the leaves are starting to sprout out. Fresh new leaves are such a pretty color.

Bradford Pear Blossoms -- Day 72

Yay, DST! The thing I like about Daylight Savings Time is that I still have usable daylight left after I get home from work and eat supper. :) Tonight I went out (in my bare feet cause it was so nice today) and photographed the neighbor's Bradford Pear Tree. :)

I waited all day for the sun to hit this specific spot on the floor. :) And then I snapped away. :)

70mm-300mm -- Day 68

Today I discovered that I can set up a studio right on my lap. :) Today I'm not feeling so well, so I stayed home from work and I'm hanging out in my bed with my sister's laptop. I decided to see what I could do with my camera and items I could reach from bed. :) I should have zoomed out and showed my setup, but oh well, I guess everyone will just have to think I used some fancy lightbox, :)

Clothespins -- Day 67

This was a late night attempt at a good photo. :) I was at a loss for what to photograph.  But, I found something. :)

Field of Daffodils -- Day 66

There's a field on my way to work with a large patch of daffodils. Today on my way home I stopped to photograph. It was really windy, so I didn't stay long, I may have to go back. :)

Apricot Blossoms -- Day 65

I've taken photos of this tree for the last few days, but always found something else to photograph and post instead. :) Today, although I had another subject, too, I decided to go ahead and post this one here. A Bee's Snack -- Day 64

A friend suggested taking more photos of pictures of "small pretty animals or bugs," so today I went out with that goal. I didn't really expect to find any, but once I started looking I found several subjects. :) Here's my favorite. It's so fun to watch bees zip from flower to flower in search of nectar. :)
