Hoar Frost -- Day 30

Today I saw Hoar Frost. Before I came to Canada, I was talking to God and mentioned that I thought it would be neat if I could see real hoar frost while I was up here. Since my visit is nearing it's end, I didn't think I'd see it, but today, Amber and I took a little detour to see Frozen Lake Metigoshe. As we drove down the road we came across a section of the prairie that was covered in Frost.

Matt got a card in the mail from a friend of theirs in Canada. She sent him 2 Canadian dimes and a nickel. When Matt found out I was going on Vacation to Canada, he insisted that I must take his money and buy him something in Canada. Don't know if I'll be able to find him something for 25 cents. :)

Fire Truck -- Day 14

One of Jon's newest pastimes is to drive one of his brothers' firetrucks. We attach a strap to it and he can pull it forward and push it back. It also has buttons on it that he can push to turn the sirens on.

My sister brought over her "collection" of oils this evening. I DON'T like the smell of this one, but I thought it bad a great photo. :)

Trying my hand at a little more deliberate still life photography. I know a pile of baby clothes probably isn't that exciting to most people, but that's what came in the mail today. I can't wait to deliver these to my favorite littlest nephew in just 12 days [woah, 12 days! I better start thinking about packing].

Vanessa and I are proud of her new micro twists. It took a lot of hours to put these in. Pretty much all of Christmas break was spent on twisting hair. We're both glad to have it done and are looking forward to trying out locs in the coming months.
