Fall Colors -- Day 288
I'm enjoying figuring out my new camera. I didn't think it would be so hard getting used to a new one, but it has been interesting. It's funny how a camera can become like a good friend, you just learn what to expect from them. I've been working on figuring out mostly ISO settings and what to set things on to get it to work like I want it to. :) I think I'm going to have to do a comparison shoot with both cameras and see what the differences are.
On the way to church I saw this gorgeous view along the highway. It was overcast and the colors were popping. On the way home Dad stopped on the shoulder so I could snap a photo. The change of lighting, from that morning, changed the look of the colors, but it was still pretty. Wish I could have spent more time, but parked on the shoulder of a large highway isn't really be best place for a photoshoot.

Tea Mugs -- Day 280
I found these cute little mugs on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I couldn't resist just buying them. They were going to be a Christmas gift for Amber, but I couldn't help showing them to her early. Besides I wanted to be able to use them, maybe this weekend we can have a tea party with the nephews and nieces. :)

Box of Color -- Day 227
Today was the day to pack up the backpacks for the start of school. I love school supplies! And boxes of fresh new crayons make a good subject. :)

Oil Pastels -- Day 208
Today I decided to break out the art set that a friend gave us. I wanted to try out the pastels, but I was hoping for soft pastels, not oil pastels. Oh well. I tried them out and didn't really like the result, so I'll have to try again sometime. :)

Rainbow Umbrella -- Day 81
It's still raining around here. :) I decided to put my rainbow umbrella to use. I tried to get some photos of my umbrella reflecting in a puddle, but those didn't turn out as I had envisioned, so I got this one instead.

M&M Leap Day -- Day 60
Had an M&M party last night with my camera, my sister, her laptop, her Skype, and more importantly her guy on the other side of Skype. It was fun. Stephen had most of the M&Ms though. He brought 5 different kinds! Amber and I just had Peanut Butter and a few Dark Chocolate. We were happy though, since PB M&Ms are the best. :)

Marbles -- Day 171
I got out my tripod, a bag of marbles, a sheet of copy paper, a couple light sources, and of course my camera and came up with this photo. It didn't look like this straight off the camera though, I did a lot of editing in Dynamic Photo HDR.

Candy Machine -- Day 149
C is for Candy. You guys thought I was almost done with the aphabet huh? I'm not going in order as you may have figured out. :) Amber and I went to get our car inspected and this candy machine was in the waiting room. I already had an older candy picture, but decided to take a new one. So here it is. This machine featured my favorites. Skittles and M&M's
