Little Pumpkins -- Day 299

This shot was not thought out at all. It is one of four photos I snapped today while playing "Pass The Pumpkin" with the kids I work with. Ha ha, the game ended up more like "Throw the Pumpkin."
I could probably have come up with a better photo for today, but I'm being lazy. :)

Pumpkin -- Day 317 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

I'm trying to take photos of all the fall colors and decorations, before they get put away and replaced with Christmas things. I love fall and thanksgiving and all the colors that come with them. :)

I put three kernels of corn on this pumpkin to remember the tradition of the pilgrims when they served a few kernels of corn with their meal to remember the long winters with only a small amount of food.

Pumpkins -- Day 245

We went to Bakersville today and I enjoyed walking around taking photos of the pioneer village and the musicians that sang throughout the day. It was neat to see all the different sights and all these pumpkins and the beautiful weather reminded me that my favorite season is just around the corner.
