Tea Party Girl -- Day 88
Sometimes there are days when I make 100's of images and it's really hard to choose which one to post as my photo of the day. Today was my niece's birthday tea party and it was one of those days. I ended up choosing this image because it is shows the gist of today. A little girl in all her finery, enjoying a cup of tea. :)

Through the Screen -- Day 82
This evening I went by my Grandparent's house and decided to stop by the property next to theirs which is for sale. I've driven past many times and thought about photographing the old barn/shed that is on the property. Today I stopped, but my plans were thwarted by thorny undergrowth. :( Instead I investigated the falling down abandoned house. I couldn't see much, but snapped this image through the torn screen.

Car Masterpiece -- Day 78
Today's theme is "Where I stand." Instead of doing my own feet I decided to capture Matthew's feet standing in front of his masterpiece. He had seen my Rainbow Traffic Jam image and wanted to recreate it with his cars again.

Monster Truck -- Day 70
The theme for today is "Free Choice." Matt was enjoying racing his pullback monster truck, so I decided to take a few pictures.

Tiny Blue Flower -- Day 69
Despite how it looks in this image, this flower is only about 1/4 inch across. Reversing my lens is allowing me to see the world in a new way. Now if only it would snow again, so I could capture some snowflakes (Some people will get me for that wish). :P

Baby Sisters -- Day 65
I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow and I'm supposed to bring a baby picture of myself for a game. I came across these pictures last week, just in time to take mine to the baby shower. :) Anyone know which one is me?

Chinese Takeout -- Day 64
If you know me well enough and we've ever discussed take-out you'll know that Chinese in a box is important to me. There's just something about getting Chinese in a box. A lot of the Chinese Takeout restaurants have switched to using styrofoam take-out boxes. I love Chinese food, but it's just not the same when it's in styrofoam. There's just something about that fold out box. That's why I was pleased to find that there is at least one place in town who still uses boxes. :)

Macro Pencil -- Day 62
Today's theme is "Sharp." I thought, "hmm what is sharp besides a knife or scissors?" Ah ha, a pencil. But I've already featured pencils two other times in the last 62 days, so I wanted a new way of portraying a pencil. I've been wanting to try out the reverse lens macro technique and this was the perfect subject. Now you know what sharpened pencil lead really looks like.
I really like this effect and I think I need to get myself a reverse lens adapter, cause holding my lens backward in front of my camera sensor and adjusting focus (by moving my subject closer or further from the lens) while also trying to not shake the camera on the tripod or move the lens too much and pushing the button wasn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to do. :) This is a combinations of two images, by the way. My depth of field was so narrow I couldn't even get the whole lead tip in focus at the same time. I had to focus on thinnest part first and then the thicker base and combine the focus of both images. I really like how this image turned out!

Burt's Bees -- Day 61
My favorite lip balm. Today's theme was supposed to be "Routine." I don't know if this really fits, but I was at the end of my day, and there was my Burt's Bees so I put some on and decided to take a picture too. :)

Peanut Butter Hot Cocoa -- Day 60
Today we went sledding with friends and when we came in from the cold we had hot cocoa. I added a spoonful of peanut butter. Yum! Theme "In My Cup"
