Just a fun twist to your normal "Stop" sign. I noticed the back of this sign when driving into my cousin's horse ranch, but didn't realize it wasn't a normal stop sign until on my way out. :) I had to "Woah" for a photo. :)

McCune -- Day 174

Today I was in McCune. This little town holds a special place in my heart. I lived and worked there part time for about 3 months in 2013 when the family I work for moved from their current home to be closer to husband's work. Sadly the small town life was short lived as the school across the street closed and things just weren't working out for the family. We all have fond memories of our short time in McCune though. :) It was so peaceful and friendly.

Ants -- Day 173

It's not an easy task to create an image of a busy ant who is trying to rescue all the babies that were just unearthed by weed pulling. I knew this ant nest was here from pulling weeds last Monday, so when I asked Dad what I should photograph and he mentioned ants, I knew where to go. I reversed my lens for this one. I really need to get a reverse lens adapter so I don't have to hold a loose lens steady as well as the camera. :) These aren't big ants, they are typical little red ant size. About the size of this I in real life.

Tonight Mom brought out Coca-Cola! If you know our family you'll know that we just don't drink soda. But Mom found this low calorie coke (made with sugar and stevia) and bought it for a treat. :) Here's Ben enjoying a it. :)

Mulberries -- Day 152

We discovered (well, I discovered) a mulberry tree down the road. The kids and I were taking a walk, but stopped so they could ride their bikes up and down the only flat stretch of road in their neighborhood. It was a great place to hang out and eat berries while they rode off some energy.
