Pizza Party -- Day 361

Well, it wasn't an official party, but Stephen treated us to Dominoes the evening before he left. I wasn't thinking I'd be featuring Dominoes again in this project, but I am. I decided I'd get people in this shot. :) I was happy that most of my family obliged.

Billiards -- Day 340

My brothers got an early Christmas gift. :) Yep, Mom found a good deal on a Foosball table at the Salvation Army Family Store. :) The foosball is fun in itself, but what I really like is that is also converts to many other games including Billiards. :) I enjoyed getting my brothers to pose for some shots of the pool table. :)

Custom Made "Fingergrip Lamb" Knife -- Day 327

My brother Daniel is really getting into his knife making. He whipped this fancy thing out in a day or so! He Custom made it for a friend and named it the "Fingergrip Lamb" (Lamb is the last name of the friend who inspired it). Anyone want to buy a hand crafted knife for a friend or family member this Christmas? Daniel is going into the business. :D

Swinging High -- Day 322

Our friends down the road have a great swing! And a huge leaf pile! Today we went down to collect the leaves to pile on our garden, but before bagging them up we jumped in them. We had a great time and the boys did all kinds of fun stunts. Here Luke and Daniel are riding the swing. Daniel is getting ready to fly into the leaf pile.

Craftsman -- Day 320

Craftsman at work. Yesterday I posted a photo of my brother's "knife handles" and today he was cutting coasters from mulberry wood. I think he's taking advantage of the saw we borrowed for some other projects around the house. :)

Brother and Sister -- Day 314

Today we took a walk in the lovely fall weather. My siblings are great and were very obliging at letting me take their pictures today. :) They came up with some good poses and I liked how this one turns out. Even though Daniel wouldn't give me a real smile. :D

Walking in the Leaves -- Day 307

More leaves! They are quickly leaving the trees so I have to get all my fall leaf shots taken. :) Daniel agreed to pose for this shot. I think he likes his shoes, so he didn't mind them being featured on my blog. :)

Volley Ball -- Day 301

We went on a family walk this Sunday afternoon. Ended up at the volleyball  nets at a park near home. :) I'm not into volleyball, but enjoyed taking pictures of some of my siblings and dad playing a game. Here Luke is getting into it and and it looks like Daniel is getting ready on the other side of the net. :)

Daniel Portrait -- Day 265 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

Today we went to a Bluegrass Festival that included a car show. Daniel had the idea to take his picture with one of the cars for today's photo. This truck may not have been his favorite, but it was the only one that worked well for a photo without a lot of distracting background people and other cars. :)

Bowling Form -- Day 229

Tonight was bowling night at the Gospel Gathering. After the singing and preaching was over we all headed to the on site bowling alley. I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed themselves. I had a hard time with my camera because of low light, but this photo of Daniel F. turned out perfect. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I'd caught the ball actually hitting the pins. :)

Dumpster Diving Brothers -- Day 225

It rained over the weekend, so today I took the boys on a walk to look for lighters. We walked along the drainage ditch/creek and ended up finding 12 lighters today. That's definitely a record for one day. On our way home we went a round about way and the boys got excited when they saw this dumpster. They were hoping to find some sort of treasure, but nothing of worth was inside. Hmmmm... I wonder why? Maybe because it was trash. :)

Boot Blade Wallace -- Day 200

My brother, Daniel, is really getting good at his knife making. This weekend my sister's and I are heading to a benefit for a friend and a few days ago Daniel decided to donate a knife to the silent auction, so he set to work and had this fancy knife and sheath ready in no time. It was dubbed the "Boot Blade Wallace" and by Sunday night it will have a new lucky owner. :)

Guys will be Guys -- Day 195

We took a short hike in the scorching heat today. We had company and we wanted to show them our normal sight seeing places. By the time we got done we were all dripping with sweat. 100° weather is not the best for outside tours. :) We did get wet at the falls, but it was still hot.
I didn't really plan a specific photo for today, but of the ones I took, this one was my favorite. Luke and Daniel were having fun, like guys do when they get together. :) I guess Luke was tired of walking in the heat? I think I would have opted to walk instead of being that close to a sweaty guy! :P

Check Mate -- Day 32 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

Daniel loves to play a good game of chess. I needed a photo and Ben just got this new chess set, so I decided to make it the subject for today.  I don't know for sure if this was an actual game or if it was a set up (I told my brothers to get it ready for a photo), but either way, it was Check Mate.

At The Sleddin' Hill -- Day 8

I took my brothers sledding this morning. Because of the below 0° temps the last few days, we hadn't been to the sledding hill. Things began to warm up today, though, so we thought we'd better get our sledding in before the sledding hill was turned into a slushy muddy mess. It's hard to get the right exposure when the snow is so bright. I settled for more of a silhouette of the boys getting ready to go down the hill.
