House on Fire -- Day 202
This weekend my sisters and I went to visit friends, and this is the sight that met us when we drove down their road. We were glad that we had been pre-warned of this planned fire and were glad it wasn't our friends' house. :)

Campfire -- Day 138 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll
This weekend my sisters and I went to an outreach/workday at Camp David of the Ozarks. After dinner we all gathered around the bonfire for singing and s'mores. At the point I took this photo the fire was way to hot for roasting marshmellows, unless you wanted to eat them black. :) I used a stump as a tripod for this shot.

Dripping Fire -- Day 120
We roasted hotdogs on a bonfire for supper. My brothers played with melting styrofoam. Made for some great photos.

The Aftermath -- Day 59
On the way to work, I shot this photo of a local restaurant that burned down. Apparently the fire started around 10:30 last night and the firefighters were still working at 8:30 this morning. One long night for them. Amber and I drove past the fire hose coming from the hydrant and since we were running ahead of schedule, we went around the block to check things out. The whole place is in ruins. I think I'll drive over there again sometime soon and get some more shots of the other side of the building.Photo details: Canon EOS Digital Rebel, Exposure time 1/320 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 100, Focal Length
