Pink Cookies -- Day 36

This one was not captured from my bed :) I guess I'll save that idea for another time. I thought these cookies were to cute to pass up. They are each about the size of a half dollar.

Cookies! -- Day 285

We ran out of cookies at Pizza Night! But that only meant we would get to make more and eat them fresh from the oven. :) All the little girls joined in the baking and had a great time. Coryaunna was proud to get to show off the pan of pre-baked cookies. :)

Yummy Cookies -- Day 146 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

I saw an idea for a photo like this when I first started my project. Today I finally got around to trying it out. I had to wait for someone to make cookie and then wait for the oven to cool down so I could take the photo without melting my camera. :) I took the rack out and used my manual focus to get it just right and then I put the rack, cookies and camera back inside the oven and used the timer to take the photo. I like how it turned out. :) Anyone want to enjoy some cookies with me???

STOP! Don't take the last two -- Day 19

Today was the one year celebration of Pizza Night at our house and we had a great big pizza party. I was planning to post a photo of pizza for today, but when the night had grown late, I noticed this photo just waiting to be taken. The younger children had been playing with Mega-Blocks and somehow this stop sign made it onto the plate with the two remaining chocolate chip cookies. I don't know if it was a by chance placement by a child or a witty adult who decided to save the last two for himself, but however it got there the sign says it all. :D
