Through the Microscope -- Day 94
"Did you know that when you put an Azalea blossom under the microscope, it looks like it's made out of little tiny red diamonds?" -- Ben (Age 10)
The Azalea's are blooming a lot earlier this year (Here is a link to 2010's Azalea Photo.) When I got home and saw the above quote on my Mom's Facebook page. I decided I needed to see these diamonds for myself. I wasn't really thinking I'd take a picture, but then after seeing how pretty it was, I got out my tripod and set up the camera. I'm going to have to do that again sometime. :D

Azalea Flowers -- Day 113
I don't know what I'll do when spring is over and the trees, flowers and bushes stop blooming. Every other day there are new colors outside. My neighbor's roses are starting to show their petals. Stay tuned for those. :)
This is my Mom's Azalea bush. It is really pink not red, but I was having trouble getting the true color.
Photo details: Canon EOS Digital Rebel, Exposure time 1/60 sec, Aperture f/6.3, ISO 100, Focal Length 34.0 mm.
