Rub-a-Dub-Dub Old Man in the Tub -- Day 212
How could I resist capturing this moment today. :) Nate just loves baths and today he was "swimming" away in the tub full of water and bubbles. I walked past the bathroom door to check on him and here is what I saw, a little white haired, bearded man. :D Such a cute little old man!

Socks -- Day 211
I know it's a little warm for socks, but I did finally finish the pair I was knitting. :) Now I just need the cooler weather so I can wear them. :)

Engagement Ring -- Day 209
Today my sister's engagement ring was finally done and ready to be picked up at the jewelers. Amber was very excited and took it off long enough for me to get some photos of it. Isn't it pretty!

Oil Pastels -- Day 208
Today I decided to break out the art set that a friend gave us. I wanted to try out the pastels, but I was hoping for soft pastels, not oil pastels. Oh well. I tried them out and didn't really like the result, so I'll have to try again sometime. :)

Engrossed in a Book -- Day 207
Tonight I had supper with our good friends. They had their grandchildren for the evening. I enjoyed seeing the kiddos and taking a few pictures of them. Krista loves books and was very much engrossed in her pile of books. I don't think she even noticed the flash as I captured her there on the couch.

Little House on the Prairie -- Day 206
Today I purposely didn't take a photo of the delicious Tortilla Soup I made for supper, 'cause I didn't want to fall back on that for my photo for today. :) So when the evening was getting late and I hadn't taken a single photo, I spotted the Lincoln Logs. :) I've always thought it might be fun to live in a little cabin. Mine wouldn't be on the prairie though. I'd rather have a cabin in the woods. :)

Natural Gas Meter -- Day 205
I don't know exactly how much gas we've used, but so glad we have that natural gas that provides us with hot water and heat in the winter. :)

Me and My Camera -- Day 204
I didn't know what to take a picture of today, so as I was lounging across Mom and Dad's bed I saw myself in the mirror and thoughts, "I haven't done a self-portrait in a while." So that's why I decided to take a picture of me and my camera. :)

Prettiness at Grandma's House -- Day 203
I went to visit my Grandma today and the sun was hitting her living room decorations just perfectly. :)

Sailor Girl -- Day 202
Today I did some portraits for my best friend. She's been mine and Amber's "triplet" since the time we were 6 years old. What a great friend she is! I just love her!

Arachnid -- Day 200
The little Workman boys discovered this guy stuck to the fly tape in the basement. :) Even though they think they are scared of spiders they were enthralled with this one. :)

Embroidery -- Day 199
This is the beautiful gift my sister gave me for my birthday. Isn't it lovely? It wasn't quite done when she gave it to me, but now its done and ready to show. :) I love it! Thank you, Hannah.

Riding High Over St Louis -- Day 198
I went to the City Museum and captured this shot of the St Louis skyline with Big Eli the Ferris Wheel. The City Museum was so neat! I want to go back again. :)

Ice Cream Face -- Day 197
Today is National Ice Cream Day and after our fellowship dinner at church we celebrated with ice cream. This little cutie enjoyed some healthy strawberry, banana, blueberry icecream. Yummy! She looks quite satisfied. :)

Chocolate Bird's Nest -- Day 196
I thought I'd feature another bird's nest. :) This one is edible! By the way, the last bird's nest that I photographed, never produced any babies. I don't know what happened, but after a while the robins didn't come back and the nest was empty when I checked. This nest isn't going to produce babies either, 'cause I'm eating it. :D

Drying Dill -- Day 193
I couldn't decide on which photo to post so I decided to post both of them. :) (although from the way I have them lined up they almost look like they could be one picture, :)) Hannah is drying dill in our sewing room window and it looks so summery. :)
And if you look closely you'll even see a grasshopper perched on the curtain rod. :) I didn't notice it until later when I was processing the photos and I saw it and though, "Is that a grasshopper!"

The Ring (Ok, not really) -- Day 188
Having fun with my sister. She's waiting for her custom engagement ring to be ready from the jeweler, so she decided to make a substitute to hold it's place. :)

Driving Brutus -- Day 187
Every little boy's dream is to drive a "Digger". Today Mark got to "drive" Big Brutus, the largest electric shovel in the
world. Big Brutus is a 16 story tall, 11 million pound coal mining shovel that is now retired and open for visitors in West Mineral Kansas.

Bunny Tracks Ice Cream -- Day 185
Mmmmmm good! Amber and I requested our favorite flavor of ice cream for our birthday celebration. But because of all the busyness of the weekend, we are still enjoying it even though our birthday is over. :) Here's too little chocolate peanut butter bunnies!

The View -- Day 183
When I started this year's project I thought it would be fun to post something extra special for my photo at the half way mark. Little did I know that I'd be riding a hot air balloon exactally halfway through the year. :)
My employers got me a balloon ride for my birthday. :D The hot air balloon ride was spectacular. Makes me want to go into ballooning. :) Definitely going to be one of the highlights on my 30th year. :)
Thought it would be fun to do a little tilt-shift editing on this picture, to give it a miniature look. :)
