Dancing with Auntie -- Day 203 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

Our trip took us to a benefit to raise money for a friend. There were many different things going on including a pie auction, silent auctions, raffles, contests and dancing. This is  my friend Helena dancing with her nephew. They were both having a grand time and I'm glad I was able to capture their joy.

Movie Reel -- Day 62

Hannah and I went to see the movie, The Sound of Music, at our local live arts theatre. They often put on an Old Movie Night between when they strike the set and begin rehearsals for a new play. One of the regular's at the threatre owns a couple old movie projectors and that is how they put on these old movies. I enjoyed getting to go to the light booth to capture the reels in action. :)

Swingin' High -- Day 61

I shot this photo of Annabel swinging high at the park today. Amber was having a day out with the kids she nannies and their mom. Luke, Ben and I joined them at the park after lunch. I was glad to have some new subjects. :D

Popcorn! -- Day 28 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

Popcorn and a movie, that's how we spent Sunday evening. I don't usually post two photos in one day, but I couldn't decide which one was better. Which one do you prefer?

Flying Saucer -- Day 21

Today my siblings and a friend thought it would be fun to toss the Frisbees around. I bundled up and joined them since I hadn't taken a photo yet today. This was hard to capture, but with the help of my younger brother I was able to get it. :) I focused on a tree behind me that was about the same distance from where I thought the Frisbee would fly. Then Luke threw it into the air while I followed with my camera. I'm glad I had a fast shutter. :)

Stalking Her Prey-- Day 1 -- Winner of viewer's choice poll

This is, Triana, my sister-in-law's cat. I don't know what she was stalking, but it made for a cool picture. :) I had both her and our family cat out in the snow with me. Cat's aren't my favorite when it comes to pets but I'm finding they make good subjects if I can catch them at the right moment. :D
