Ladybug -- Day 244
While on vacation it is so hard to choose one photo to post. :) I took so many! Here is a cute little Ladybug that I found. I was using my soon to be twin-in-law's Canon Rebel 2Ti which really captures detail a whole lot better than my old Rebel. I very much enjoy using Stephen's camera whenever I get the chance.

Powerplant at Sunrise -- Day 243
Headed for Canada bright and early this morning. Here's the sunrise as we drove along the edge of Kansas. :)

Be Back Soon -- Day 242
Early tomorrow, I leave on vacation. My first time out of the country. :) I probably won't be posting photos while I'm gone, but I will be taking them, so stay tuned. :) Lack of internet access won't stop Project 366. :)

After the Rain -- Day 239
Today it rained. I captured some water dropplets on the Crape Myrtle shortly after the clouds cleared away.

Vinca in the Wall -- Day 237
I spent some time weeding the Vinca's that we have growing along our sidwalk. I found this one growing in a crack in the wall that runs along the flower bed. Sadly I had to pull it out so that the crack wouldn't get worse, but I snapped a few photos first.

Twins in Orange -- Day 230
Today was the first Friday after school started which meant Mark and Luke were left home when all the other school kids got on the bus. They don't go to preschool on Fridays and were sad to be left behind. I'm thinking Friday is going to have to be the special day for a morning walk or something. :) This morning Amber and I took Mark, Luke and Jon across the street to see the horses and then explored a little down the road. We found this wood pile which made for a great place to hold two on the move boys still long enough for a photo that was actually in focus. :)

Project of the Night -- Day 229
I spent this evening working on a photoshop project with my author friend, Rebekah. :) After a few oops' and redo's we finally finished the cover for her latest book "The Pirates of Rocky Crag Bay and other stories"

Box of Color -- Day 227
Today was the day to pack up the backpacks for the start of school. I love school supplies! And boxes of fresh new crayons make a good subject. :)

Sunday Supper -- Day 225
Sunday suppers at our house often consist of the quick and easy Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwiches. :) Tonight was no exception. :D

Tree and Fence -- Day 224
I went to a gathering of friends and this pretty spot of "farm" was right next to the church we met at. :) I took a lot of photos at the gathering, but chose this one for today's photo. Right next to this little field of grass was my dream house, a log cabin with wrap around porch. :)

Dusty Miller -- Day 223
Did you know they have little yellow flowers? I never knew that those fuzzy little plants were so cute. :D I wanted to show the flowers, but I didn't want to leave out the shot off the fuzzy leaf, so today you get to see both. :)

Wood Chip Play -- Day 222
Luke and Ben set to digging themselves a hole in the middle of the pile. Wood chips are more stable than leaves or hay. :D

A Pile of Laundry -- Day 221
This is today's pile of laundry. We came back from the weekend with all but a small load already washed, so it was just a matter of getting it all folded and put away, and keeping up with the 2-3 loads that seem to appear over night with 10 kids in the house. :)
I had been washing, drying and leaving the clean loads while I did other things around the house, but today, I made a point to focus on that pile. I usually just fold it in the laundry room, but today I took all those baskets of clean laundry and made one big pile in the family room. There I sat and folded, sorted, stacked and hung. :) That is after Nate posed for a photo and several of the other kids jumped into the pile as if it were a pile of leaves. :)

Soil Samples -- Day 220
My sister, Hannah, recently saw the film, Back to Eden. After some calling around and waiting she was finally able to get a load of wood chips delivered from the city tree trimmers. Here is a photo of her soil samplings after a week of wood chip covering part of her garden. These two samples were taken within a few yards of each other. I'm sure it's obvious which handful of dirt came from the covered part of the garden. :)

Rolling Farm Land -- Day 217
I took this photo Saturday morning while Amber and I took a walk. I love rolling farm land! If I ever live in the country I want there to be a gravel road and rolling land with trees.

Brothers at the Farm -- Day 216
Had a great time visiting "The Farm" over the weekend. :) I took over 500 photos! Didn't take as many on Friday, so I had a harder time choosing which one to post. Finally decided on this one. The focus is off and I would have loved to not have left Luke's hand out of the frame, but even with those little "quirks" there's just something about the feel of the photo that I love. :)
