Chocolate Morsels -- Day 316

Winter Vegetation -- Day 11

Soil Samples -- Day 220

My sister, Hannah, recently saw the film, Back to Eden. After some calling around and waiting she was finally able to get a load of wood chips delivered from the city tree trimmers. Here is a photo of her soil samplings after a week of wood chip covering part of her garden. These two samples were taken within a few yards of each other. I'm sure it's obvious which handful of dirt came from the covered part of the garden. :)

A is for Acorn -- Day 316

You thought I was done with my alphabet project didn't you? Well, it has mostly reached completion, but I recently thought I should take an acorn picture to use as the long A sound. I can't decide if I want to use A is for Apron or A is for Acorn.
I collected these acorns this evening and brought them home and set up a small studio with a sheet of poster board and 2 desk lamps.

Siblings in Brown -- Day 85

They all happened to be wearing brown so I chose them for a photo shoot. Thanks guys!
