Fūl -- Day 318

How do you pronounce that? "Full, Fool, Fuel?" I pronounce it "Full" even though I'm thinking it's not supposed to be pronounced that way, since it has the macron over the u. Either way my life feels full at the moment, and I'm glad my camera bag is also full. :)
PS This is my most favorite camera bag ever, and it isn't even a camera bag. I got it for less than $20 and made my own padding for the inside. :)

EOS Rebel T3i -- Day 285

Today marks a significant day in this 366 project. My old 2003 Canon EOS D300 is about to be retired. This may be the last photo I take with the camera that has served me well for nearly 3 years. Today my sister dropped a Canon box in my lap and this is what I found inside! A brand spanking new EOS Digital Rebel T3i. I've had my eye on this camera for a while and didn't expect it to land in my lap today. I am sooooooo excited! Thank you to my favorite twin sister and her fiancé. You two are the best!

Me and My Camera -- Day 204

I didn't know what to take a picture of today, so as I was lounging across Mom and Dad's bed I saw myself in the mirror and thoughts, "I haven't done a self-portrait in a while." So that's why I decided to take a picture of me and my camera. :)

70mm-300mm -- Day 68

Today I discovered that I can set up a studio right on my lap. :) Today I'm not feeling so well, so I stayed home from work and I'm hanging out in my bed with my sister's laptop. I decided to see what I could do with my camera and items I could reach from bed. :) I should have zoomed out and showed my setup, but oh well, I guess everyone will just have to think I used some fancy lightbox, :)

My Canon -- Day 286

Today, I did some searching online for some photo ideas. Found lots of cool ideas, one of which was to get a shot of my hands holding my camera. I used my Canon G5 on a tripod to take the shot. The flip out and twist LCD came in handy for composing the shot. Sometimes I miss using my old G5. I'm going to have to use it more often. :) I used Dynamic Photo HDR to edit this shot even though I didn't stack several images, so it isn't a true HDR.

You Are On Camera -- Day 283

Yep you sure are, on camera. :) I drive past this sign on Wednesdays on my way to get eggs at a local farm. I've been wanting to stop and get a shot of it since the beginning of my photo project, but until today I always had a better idea for the photo of the day. I knew the sign would be there when I needed it so I waited until I ran out of ideas. Today proved to be that day. :) This sign is posted outside a junk yard. I wonder if anyone was watching the security camera and saw me taking photos. :)

Little Photographer -- Day 250

Look at that precious little grin! It was all for the smile that I chose this photo. It's always fun to get a natural look from a toddler. This is Coryaunna, she was enjoying taking pictures with some help from Amber. I think she was looking up to see that I was smiling. :)

Me the Photographer -- Day 79 -- Winner of Viewer's Choice Poll

Today I decided to take a photo of myself. :) I thought I'd avoid it and wait until I was desperate, but today I guess I was just in the mood. I really don't like photographing myself. I like how this one turned out though. I shot it in the full size mirror in Emelyn and Ellise's playroom while they were napping. I should have washed the glass first. :) I flipped the image in Photoshop so now it looks like the mirror took the photo. :)

Photo details: Canon EOS Digital Rebel, Exposure time 1/50 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 200, Focal Length 55.0 mm, Taken in RAW, Processed with Digital Photo Professional and Photoshop.

Young Photographer -- Day 63

I captured Nathaniel as he photographed a group of young people dancing the Posties Jig. I was hoping to get a good action shot of the dancers, but when Nathaniel joined me in the "press box," I pointed my camera at him. :) Someday he may be the next Ansel Adams. :)
