I almost missed taking a photo today. But remembered just before bed. Looking up to the ceiling of our half finished second story, I saw this old fashioned "Ceramic Standoff" (Yes, I researched to find out what they called those things). I thought it might make a good photo for a day when I didn't know what else to take a photo of. :)
Photo details: Canon EOS Digital Rebel, Exposure time 1/125 sec, Aperture f/4.5, ISO 200, Focal Length
180.0 mm, Shot in RAW, Processed with Digital Photo Professional.

That is quite interesting. Too bad a brown recluse wasn't there for you.:)
a electrical insulator, a wiring standoff aka fire hazzard, old material wound wire .. I have some of that kind in the walls . hopefully you have fire insurance just incase some of that old stuff shorts out...
I love this image! I have a hard time getting spider webs to stand out so I like this one. :) Good editing too... the program you used, Digital Photo Professional, is that something you purchased?
I liked how the spider web turned out, too and yes, it would have been neat to have a spider in there. :) I don't think the old wiring is still in use upstairs, Vernon. We re-did it years ago. But we do still have old wiring downstairs.
Amber, Digital Photo Professional came on my EOS Solutions Disk. It's pretty handy.
