This reminds me of when we made maple syrup out on the farm. It was a lot of work but so rewarding... Yummy!
Mmmmm, I wish could make some maple syrup. We only have one silver maple in our yard and we tried tapping it last year but only got enough sap to make a couple tablespoons of syrup. :D
It really depends on the weather. :) If it's below *30 at night and above *30 during the day, the sap is running. If not, there won't be any flow. If you do get a chance to make syrup, let me know how it goes. :)
