We discovered (well, I discovered) a mulberry tree down the road. The kids and I were taking a walk, but stopped so they could ride their bikes up and down the only flat stretch of road in their neighborhood. It was a great place to hang out and eat berries while they rode off some energy.

That is so weird. I just discovered yesterday that there is a mulberry bush right on the other side of our fence. I didn't know what it was, so I looked it up on line to identify it. The article I found said the berries aren't as sweet as blackberries (though they look quite similar), and can even be toxic when unripe, so I wasn't too encouraged to try them. Do you find them good for cobbler, etc.?
